Savannah

The most pastoral of the three are savannah sites, which are landscapes created and maintained through mowing. This urban grazing reduces the range of onsite species into a smooth monoculture and severely limits woody plant growth. Although further evaluation is required, we believe that savannah lots may build up new soils the most rapidly of the three. Culturally, this is perhaps the most immediately embraced landscape type.
